This is just a book blog.
First off I figured I’d write down something about all the non-fiction books I’ve been reading, but it seemed a little unfair, since sometimes fiction gives you more to ponder about than anything else.
And a little about me: I am studying physics at a rather old university in a small country somewhere in Eastern Europe, and working at the same university’s museum in a more than 200-year-old observatory as a curator (who likes old technology? – I do!).
My main interests are astronomy, astrophotography, any other kind of photography, physics, history of astronomy and/or physics, and literature and crafts :). But I try to read just about anything that sparks my interest even for a moment.

I love reading books too 🙂
And thanks for following my blog!
Astronomy! Wow. Do you believe Astrology is a science like astronomy?
No, I don’t.
Thank you (for this answer and for following my blog).
You are amazing! So many great reviews. I don’t know how you can do it.
Thanks for the “like” on my blog. Your website design is awesome!
It is such a treat for me to meet other booklovers! I shall be keeping an eye out for your posts 🙂
Such a nice design and so many books. I’ll surely be reading your reviews, and thanks for following my blog!

Lovely! We love books and we love photograph and we love astronomy! We have WAY too much in common for us not to follow you 😉
That’s awesome!
Happy to stumble on a fellow book lover! Best Regards, Helena.
Hi. I noticed the book Uncle Napoleon on your Goodreads list. I’d like to know what you think of it when you finish it. I lived in Tehran from 1975 to 1977 when a TV series based on the book was very popular. My students there (all adults and professionals in radio and TV) described the most rude time to make a phone call was during the hour that show was running. No one wanted to miss a minute of it.
Hi! Yes, I’m still working my way through it, I’ll write a review on my blog once I finish it. At the moment some parts of it remind me a little of some Monty Python sketches, as there are some just ridiculous things going on.
Hello from the U.S.! Looking forward to your book reviews. I’m a meteorology major who now works in the I.T. field, but love all avenues of science. That being said, I have a hard time getting through non-fiction books so I look forward to reading your reviews. Hopefully they inspire me to finish them 🙂
Hi, great to hear from you! I find it takes me a different kind of mood to read non-fiction, and some do take ages for m to finish them just because I would need a whole day to just concentrate on it, because it doesn’t help if I just read a page a day 🙂
Hi, Kadri,
I’ve nominated you for a Liebster Award because you set such a great example for bloggers. Here’s the link to the nomination post: https://sandrayeaman.com/2016/05/03/my-first-liebster-award/
I hope you’ll accept the award and post your own nominees soon.
All the best,
